The Porsche Cayenne was supposed to be the vehicle that would end the company’s reputation as a performance and sports car manufacturer. It did not. The 2024 Porsche Cayenne continues to prove that an SUV can be athletic. It can handle like a sedan yet be a practical workhorse for a family.
Powertrain Options

The resulting horsepower is 463. The diverse trims are imbued with the following:
- Cayenne S E: turbocharged 512 horsepower 3.0-liter V-6 can zoom from 0-60 MPH in 4.7 seconds

Every engine is mated to a Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to all-wheel drive.
When this power is placed in control of a balanced chassis with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the Porsche Cayenne can handle any road surface. From Philadelphia to the West Coast or down to the Gulf, PASM will automatically adjust the vehicle to the condition of the road it is travelling on. As a result, everyone in the cabin rides in stable comfort.
