According to statistics and professionals in the field, including those who live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this double eyelid surgery, also known as Asian blepharoplasty, has become increasingly more common over the past decade.

Potential Risks of Eyelid Surgery

If you decide to undergo eyelid surgery, you will face a slight risk. While complications and other problems are possible, they are also extremely rare. One of the more common ones is a condition known as “dry eye.” Those who already suffer from the condition increase the problem. In addition, there is the usual risk (again rare) associated with the use of an anesthesia.
